A refined visual journey through the flavors and colors of Thailand

Lac Thai is a premium Thai restaurant located in the heart of Hanoi, known for its elegant ambiance and sophisticated reinterpretation of traditional Thai cuisine. In this project, I was invited to capture the visual essence of the restaurant — from the vibrant dishes to the delicate interior details — through a series of professional food and atmosphere photographs.

Reflect the luxury-meets-authenticity identity of Lac Thai through visual storytelling

A selection of signature cocktails and herbal teas with tropical elements
Each dish was styled with great attention to detail, using refined tableware, Thai-inspired decor, and soft lighting, allowing the natural vibrancy of the ingredients to shine while maintaining a luxurious, high-end feel.

PHOTOGRAPHY STYLE & APPROACH

Bright and clean composition with punchy colors to emphasize freshness and spice
Use of soft, diffused lighting to preserve the elegant textures and plating
Balanced focus between food close-ups, table settings, and ambience shots
Captured candid moments of the chef at work and the restaurant team in action, adding warmth and authenticity

RESULTS & APPLICATIONS

The images are now used in Lac Thai’s website, printed menu, digital media, PR articles, and booking apps
Helped elevate the brand’s identity, presenting it as modern, premium, and true to Thai culinary roots
